Every year i am slipping away from the trout and movin to steelhead more. But the tug that these cutties have, the fight, and the agressiveness is what keeps me coming back to them a few times each year.
Slow action

For me with the steelies lately. So here are a few pics of some trout that slammed me recently. It's been a awhile and i need to make some kiind of report. I am not gunna type much because i am too tired to type a ton for some trout.

This would be...

Lil Beast #1

And this would be...

Lil Beast #2

This Lil fella took a yarnie with krawfish scent i tied and threaded it up to just above the hook eye.

Oder some! IMHO they are better then any other spinner out there!

Nice trout, the pursuit of steel/salmon can get pretty intense and going after some trout can relax the soul. With all the endorsements around KND, I may have to try some out.

check r&b spinners or rvrfshr. Different design... Correct design imo...

Purdy fish fo sho. I love fly fishing for cutties as much as i did before hookin my first steel this year. They are a blast to hook, i've had them jump like crazy, even more than steelhead. Its tons of fun on a 5 wt. fly rod. :D Might have to check out those KND spinners, i don't fish spinners much but i bust em out once in a while.
I saw you at Leaburg yesterday but was rushing to work so i didn't say hey, i'm sure we'll run into eachother soon.

Personally i think everyone should have atleast 1 KND spinner in there tackle. when i first saw them i couldnt stop admiring them while fishing them.

Most definetly we will run into eachother soon. I was with a couple other people. I prolly seen you too just couldn't tellk it was you. I will be up there tomorrow morn most likely. U havin any axction down low lately? I havent tried, been stuck up high.

Order some KND.

Thanks mike, even tho they are too easy to catch! They are still fun when the steelhead "turn off" for a while tho. Will see you up there soon again sometime. Tight Lines mike.

Thanks, hope the next post will be a summer steel tho. I sure am missing the tug from one right now. Steelhead fever is setting in again

I love intense fishing, and yeah i think that is why i still go after trout every once in a while. It sure does relax the soul.

Naw, i got skunked that day after landing fish my last 2 times at the zoo. It was really slow, i didn't see any boats hook up in the salmon hole and soon all the boats were gone. That dude next to you with the kid was the only fish i saw hooked all day. I think that was my first time without even a hit in that hole, i love it there because its never packed and its pretty east to fish once you figure it out. Man it was snaggy last time, too much gear in the water! I'm not sure if i'll have time to get back up there soon, and the fishing seems to have slowed a lot. I'll be working a mile from Armitage in a week or 2, i'll be there everyday after work. I'm sure i'll see ya out there.

Seeing as I am a trout snob :D I gotta say awesome fish there. :D
