T'is the season for jig tying...been tying up jigs everyday for the last month...about sick of the things. Gone through nearly 200 heads. Will share some of my not so secret weapons of steelhead death and destruction later when I'm in front of a computer.

These are a few from my first batch. It's my first time trying to tie these guys, so I'm just kinda trying to keep them clean. I haven't figured out how to get a bead on, or the "best" way to assemble the feathers and what-not, but I'm getting it down. I'll probably get one of those hook clamps so I can tie more like a fly (and get in to fly tying. Multiple trips, 0 fish).
I read that color variations really help when steelhead fishing with jigs and flies, so the spotted feathers seemed like a good idea.
I'd love to get some feedback on these. Feel free to comment.

Here's a few good go-to's
The attack rooster on the siuslaw I vow to murder and turn into jigs this winter, an eye for an eye mofo cut my waders.
And this was a beautiful mistake while curin my heads in the oven, they touched and fused...I have plans to tie a double, just have to figure out the logistics.
I have more patterns but I'd have to kill you if I shared them I do sell jigs however
