Fished Kirk for the first time this year last Thursday, wind was ripping out of the west so I focused on the north bank and hiding behind points. Wind dropped a little for the evening bite, and it was dead by the time I got off
Went up the creek at the bridge too but no luck in there.
Caught two fish, only got one photo as I caught the other in the wind, no way I was pulling my phone out!
Definitely seems weedier than last year, both below and on the surface. Water is fairly warm, lots of carp rolling too
