Went to the Kilchis today. Had some fun catching and releasing chum. Just curious what the winter steelhead run timing is on the river as in does it start in late November or is it later like January.

hatchery fish are Alsea strain and "can" start around Turkey Day....Caught one of my two + 20lb Oregon steelhead on the Kilchis in late February...Have also gotten one on the North Umpqua.
