A guy named A.K. Best wrote a book called “Production Fly Tying” that you might want to check out. It is squarely directed at your enterprise. I deeply admire your enthusiasm and respect your ability, particularly for such a young person, but a lot of people have already trod the path you are embarking upon, and it’s not a bad idea to see if you can save yourself from having to reinvent the wheel.

Have you ever thought about making twitching jigs or steelhead jigs? There’s a good market in that too especially for high qaulity ones in colors that most big brands don’t offer like pink head with a purple body and pink tail (hint hint). Especially 3/4 and 1 oz

You use them with regular gear, theres a twitching jig. Just an idea.

Good idea. I fly fish a lot but would spend $4 on a twitching jig before I spent $2 on a fly.
