Kicker motors

What size kicker should I be looking for? Will a 9.9 push my 18' Jetcraft at all? I can troll all day with the main motor and 2 sea anchors with no problems but can't go slower than maybe 1 mph. Also kinda like the idea of a backup just in case.

That will make a good kicker for the 15' open bow I see in your future.

i would love a bigger boat but i have a 9.9 merc on mine i would use for a kicker. if you look on craiglist long enough something will pop up.

9.9 kicker pushes my 19` around. Also, it has gotten me back to the launch a time or two.

we use an 8 hp yami on our 20 ft alumaweld.... pushes to 6 mph and trolls down to around .8mph love it
