A heavy jig1/2, even 1oz, punch through the weeds and they will come

Jig em or you can use spinner baits.Your other option is top water baits like a frog or some other weedless lure. If you have a foot or so of water to work a lure, id use a shallow crainbait.

Use a weightless senko and twitch on the edges of the grass or weeds. You can also use stickbaits reeled in slowly. I use a 2inch rapala balsa minnow and a 4 inch x rap these lures drive bass nuts.

Jig like TR said along with alternate of punch set up if its real heavy stuff......ive been using chatterbaits with a lot of sucess in weeds lately too. Also if your geared for it Hudd baits makes a sweet weedless swimbait
