U Utahutes Member Oct 5, 2020 Sorry but just starting salmon fishing. Going to make some bead rigs for salmon. What size of hook should I be using for 8 mm --14 mm beads

Chromatose Active member Oct 6, 2020 Irishrover, The Bead rig Utahutes is referring to is a drifting set up as apposed to a trolling Rig. Utahutes, here is a link you can look at for a bit of guidance. https://thenorthernangler.com/blogs/articles/fishing-beads Personally I prefer this set up Last edited: Oct 6, 2020

Irishrover Moderator Most Featured Oct 6, 2020 Cromatose thanks for the explanation. I was thinking big water salmon fishing. Those videos made it clear. Could work well with a tube fly. It did remind me a lot of the old drift fishing with a corky. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...A1D510C8B64AF401957CA1D510C8B64AF40&FORM=VIRE
