Im sorry did i read incorrectly. They give you 500 for catching a tagged squaw/pikeminnow? Holy dog feces. Serious? That not a bad racket. I remember a story bout an old man who fished only pikeminnows and made his living last year. I see that the informational classes on how to are over. Any of you master pikeminnow fishermen have the down-low on catching these babies?

I do,
My dads Friend is #12 on the top 20 List this year. My dad is also good friends wit Nikolay Zaremskiy. Last years top angler.
Last year my friends made $8000.
So its a very profitable way to make money.
If you know how to do it.


As I said the ways to get started are on the page right there. Yes, tagged fihs are worth $500.

Use a simple rig.
Weight, Bead, Swivel, Leader, Hook.


You can use for bait, Chicken liver, WORMS!, Crayfishtails, Cheap salmon eggs.


Fish at with good Structer, not cover. Pikeminnow primarely pray on salmon minnows. so if you see Herons grabbing them, Fish there cause usually shes grabbing salmon minnows

Then wing dams are good producers, Anchor beined them and fish.


p.s You need a boat to catch them effectivly.

It's not a reliable way to make money though. A little extra is good though

Yeah, If your limited to shore fishing, 95% chance you can't make a living,
The otehr 5% you find a spot that holds a ton of pikeminnow.

If you have a boat you can make a living if you know how to fish for them,
When I get a boat, I will be a Profesional Pikeminnow Fisherman, Ill do it for a Living.

where do you usually fish for them

I launch at Chinook Landing and fish for them around the Mouths of Rivers,
The Lewis river is a Good spot.
The Sandy river
The herman creek River. :lol:

Or at Kelly Point Park
