Hello new to fishing, need fishing places around Portland

Hello im new to fishing and i want to know where i could go fish around the portland, gresham area.. want to fish for trout,squaw,carp,catfish or anytype of fish that is close. Can you guys tell me some spots really close to me? What to fish for in the willamete, clackamas, sandy, columbia?? maybe some lakes... i'd be really glad if you guys could tell me some stuff.

You should be able to find all those species close to home , hopefully someone with some knowledge of the waters close to you will chime in, oh and welcome to the forum. Definitely check into the water by region/ area and cruise the old threads for your geographic area lots of info here!
