Fishing tag confusion?Help please

When you record your tag after catching a fish, where it says location, how do I know what the area I am at is called? I am so confused. I remember having this piece of paper behind the license or tag that stated the name of the areas...

Ya they should have given you a piece of paper listing off all the rivers in oregon, each one will have a number. You just write in that number. The numbers I believe are also in the fishing reg book.

they are in the regulations... i would look there and find the sections you will fish anytime soon and write them down on a peice of paper and keep with your tag. make sure to label the 3 digit codes as well.

either keep a copy of the regs with you to write the numbers down or next time your at fred meyer's or anywhere that sells fishing licenses ask for the little printout for your license holder.
