Got my first trout in Oregon, but My fiancee Andrea got her first before me! Had fun out at Bethany pond. Unfortunately, the water temps are still to low for the crawfish to be moving around. We put two traps out in Rock Creek and got skunked. Still, great weekend and got some stocked fish for dinner. Learned a lot about lake fishing for trout. Looking forward to hitting the creeks and rivers.
Oh yeah, also had a bass shake the hook a foot off shore on the far Northwest end of the lake. Saved me the trouble of putting her back, but would have liked the photo first! This summer that's going to be a fun bass lake.
