First springer and steel in one day

Took my dad out on a guided trip with Priddy good fishing service. Great day!
Dad got a Chinook, I got these two.....the BBQ and smoker are hot all week.

He was great, he worked hard to find fish and his experience was obvious, a real professional. That Chinook was the biggest fish I have ever brought in, he coached me in landing it, taught me how to not lose it, which could have happened because i got real excited and just started reel'in. It was seriously the thrill of a lifetime and my dad was all smiles.

did a dry rub for some of the Salmon, organic raw sugar and seasalt, about 4 1/2 hours, fantastic. I mixed the wood chips and threw some herbs in the water.
