Agreed. I've been in a drifter going through a lot hairier stuff than that, altho we'd been through it before.
Thrill of the unknown is where it's at, I'm thinking. lol

I agree that it's not THAT hairy...but, definitely, the factor of the unknown adds some depth. However, being very new to rowing a boat, I'd say...it's definitely not something I would do lol.

I think you guys are missing the point here. The fact that the dam no longer stands in the way of migrating fish, is the real "hair" here.

Just thought I would mention that two people died going through that stretch right after the dam came out. Just because it does not look hairy does not mean its not. There are a lot of unknowns after a dam is removed and unfortunately some people found out the hard way!
