Actually it looks more like a pheasant tail

Yep, pheasant tail. Gooooood for teeny nymphs. Slayer of steel and kings.

I will try and and make a few of those for this weekend. I forgot my flies at home last weekend. Kind of a bummer to not be able to fly fish while camping.

Here is the story behind it. Before checking out at the cash register the guy pulled it out from his stock and said that everyone needs one of these. I ended up buying it but forgot what it was. Thanks for the responses.
