Phone home ET...
Thanks mlw, well I believe in truth, justice and the
American way. Not kidding either...well the phone
numbers for the regions are on pg. 2 of 'the book'
and I have copies of 'the book' in each car and
another on the coffee table.
This comes in handy when I'm sitting out the rain
and daydreaming about distant OR waters...so I'll
look them up and see what's the rules and such.
Oh, also on pg. 2 of 'the book' is a toll free to report
wildlife violations and of all things, the # of the director
of ODFW. I actually got to test the violator # once and
in that case it worked amazingly well. A youth fly fisher
I was mentoring saw a violation taking place and asked
me if that was something illegal and I said it was...he then
asked what we could do about it...I suggested calling the
Douglas County office of the ODFW so he ran back to the
car and got the regs and called the violation in. An officer
was on the scene in less than 20 mins. So I know calling
in on violators works.
Cheers,
MontanaMoose
