Early koke fishing

Hey Anybodies,
any advice as to how early and where you start fishing for kokes in Oregon/Washington?

Ive caught them at billy chinook in january before, fish seem to be shallow and not much weight if any is needed to troll for them I dont know about anywhere else.

i dont thin k fishing for them gets good until april may

I have caught them pretty good on Cresent in mid-march but not consistantly. We only fished them that time of the year if we saw them schooled up on the fish finder while we were looking for mac's. I have done really well at Paulina in late April and by mid-may Paulina is usually getting good. Always do better jigging early in the season.
