Dont give up on the coast steams

My wife and I took the day off for some needed r and r....started off in Wilsonville and took the Salem route through Grand Rhonde...stopped at the casino and won a hundred bucks...then off to Lincoln City for some Grandkids shopping (my bargining chip), then off to a little fishing...Stopped first at the Nestucca....Caught two bright steelies (released both) on a spinner. (ofc property)....Then stopped at the Beaver store for some sand shrimp and hit the trask at tidewater....fished about 30 minutes and bam....springer on...I almost didn't keep it but it was a hen and I needed the eggs (my freezer is full, 1 fish short of a full tag)....stopped for a great dinner at the chinese place in Banks....great day....

Okay,it's official. I am GREEN with envy!! :wall: Not only do you WIN $100,you hook two steelies (ofc property) and after a mere 30 minutes you get into a springer! :doh: AND on top of all that,you nearly tossed it back?! rotest: Next time you come past my neighborhood,stop by so I can at least rub your head for luck! ray: Seriously, that sounds like an ideal day.
