Desperate to catch some browns!

I'm in sunriver and I've been throwing flies and rapalas with no success. Any surefire methods or places? Thanks!

Yeah, Drive east until you get to Ontario and then go south and fish the Owyhee river! This time of year they will hit anything that moves near them. Big streamers are a favorite!


This is from the first week in September last year... it was one of the smaller one for the day.

Keep at it. Fish early morning and late evening

They can be tough to get sometimes...other times youcant keep 'em off your lines over there...15-30 minutes before dark is my favorite time to throw streamers or rapalas... Thats when the pigs are eating!

No unfortunately. I only got out twice for about a half hour each time. There were some huge browns feeding but they wouldn't hit anything. I had one take my fly but spit it out. I really would live over there if I could its amazing. Good news is that my girlfriend wanted to go both times and she's showing interest in fishing now lol but if it wasn't for work id be over there all the time.
