Deep sea fishing reccomendations

My neighbor is interested in going deep sea fishing.
I have Captain's Reel info but are there any more?
He's looking for a day trip (approx 8-12 hrs). Anywhere from Astoria down to Depot Bay/Newport.
Recommendations are appreciated!

Fish Captains, not only do they out-fish other charters, they out-class them by a nautical mile (whatever that means) haha. Really, Bobbi and I fished them a while back. They were superb.

Definitely Captains. I could fill this thread with pictures of me out on trips with them reeling in fish. Love those guys. Every single Captain and every single crew is exceptional.
