Decided to get some Cougar fishing in

Hit Cougar Reservoir at first light yesterday for some trout action. I trolled a Ford Fender on one pole and a copper Thomas on the other for about an hour before I hooked into my first fish on the fender. I switched out my Thomas to another fender and fished fenders for most of the rest of the day until I caught 4 of my 5 fish limit. I decided to switch back to the Thomas and just fish that pole back to the ramp for my fifth fish, a nice fat 13 incher. Total fish, on the stringer, for the day ended with one fat 16 inch rainbow, 2 13 inch bows, and a couple of small 10 inchers. I caught and released 3 9 to 10 inch bows and 1 tiny 5 inch chinokanee. Sorry about the bad fish pic but my dog takes bad pics. lol

Yeah, I'm thinking about camping there soon. Fish for a day, then maybe pic some chanterelles, then fish some more.

lol, Tasty they were. At least two of em anyway. The other three are on the smoker right now. Mmm.
