Keep em comin!!!

Keep em comin!!!

:D I'm gunna have to buy a new harvest tag as soon as i catch up! Nice fish buddy! Super fresh, your eatin real good! I guess its time for me to get my float set up in gear and pull some drift gear out.

I'm still surprised by the length. It looks so dainty. But it's so bright. Maybe it's effecting my eyesight.

looks like you are warming up to the nightmare jig , great job :)

Niceee, is that a winter though?

I hooked into another this morning with the nightmare. Effin 'nother toad of a native.

Save some for us!

Nightmare for sure! It's funny, I still hear a few people say that it doesn't much matter what you throw, if you put something in front of a fish, they'll bite. I'm not entirely convinced; I would occasionally throw a jig where I've seen people hook up, but in a color scheme like black head, black/purple maribou, or heck, even black head, black/red and nothing. Now it might just be coincidence that there were no fish in those spots at that particular time, but recently when I've decided to toss a jig out there, merely changing up to the white head, black/red maribou and within a couple weeks, I've hooked 4.

I've heard of fish being caught from McIver, all the way down. Though I've been fishing lower, so you should do well from Barton and below.

also try a # 31 aerojig it's the next best thing to a nightmare. I toss one after I catch the first fish on a nightmare.

ChezJfrey, you are stone cold killer! Congrats on another nice fish.

Nice man! Yeah by Wednesday the bite really turned off up there. I've been one of the boats up there...We are getting consistant hookups but the bank guys may be doing better now with the lower water.

Still a bunch of beast winters in the lower with the summers. Hooked two between 12-14lbs the past two nights lower river, but both natives....Come on summers. Tonight may be the night...

Positive. On the Clack, all fish with a right maxillary clipped off are summers. Also, the hen's skeins were about the size of my pinky.
