With the Sandy so slow was thinking of heading to the Creek tomorrow. Anyone been up there lately? I'll let you all know how I do.

I had no luck. Water was low and clear and I didn't see a fish, or a fisherman.

May be the wrong attitude, but after seeing last year's coho counts (and the trend seen from 2009 to 2010 to 2011), I'm passing on any attempt on that piece of water...something's amiss out there.

The hatchery just doesn't produce as many fish as they used to. I've heard they got around 800-900 return the last few weeks with the rain. If you were there when they went through, you were probably one of the few guys who got into fish there this year. Right now there are a handful of stragglers throughout the canyon

I have not hit the Cr. in over a year and was toying with the idea for tomorrow??? Is it blown out right now? Worth my time?
