Cedar Creek area

Do you access the cedar creek area by way of Sandy River Drive? I have never been up that high on the Sandy but was thinking on giving it a try. Just need some direction:thumb:

Ten Eyck road north off of Hwy 26, and a left on Fish Hatchery Road. Good Luck out there.

Yeah what mike said. Then from the hatchery parking lot head north to the trails that lead to the river. You will probably see other preppie heading that way. Good luck, and let us know how you do

So, you just park at the hatchery then how for is the hike from there to the river? Seems quite a distance.

I'm not exactly sure but probably around a mile

It's a nice hike...and yeah about a mile if that. Worth the walk though.

You can hike in behind the high school if you want to make it longer. More mellow walk.
