Boat ramp update

I emailed Washington County to request an update for opening the Boat Ramp A.

I was informed that they are "hoping to have the repairs done and the ramp open by May 1st."

Wow. When I was there, on 3/1; a guy at the check in station (from the County) said 2 weeks. Now SIX more?

Must be waiting for parts, from China.

Yeah...I am hoping they are under promising so they can over deliver.

They better hurry; cuz warmer/sunnier weather is coming. Only one ramp, won't cut it!

Maybe they'll get the ramp and dock open just in time for construction on the new dam, so it can flood everything existing now...

He told me yesterday work starts some time this week. He said it was a insurance pain in the butt.
