Been doing good lately...

Well went 1 for 2 this evening. Only fished for a little over and hour. About a half hour in, I hooked and lost a nice chromer hen. She was just a little on the smaller side, but was a really nice fish! Shame I lost her. then I landed a nice cookie cutter buck near the end. I also saw 2 other hook ups (one guy banked a nice one, and had it IN HIS HANDS, and it shook out and swam away!!!!). So pretty good action in the hour that I was out. Also landed a nice hen a few days before too, so that makes 2 fish on the tag this week. Not too bad...

Classic mckenzie river steelie. 28 " probably 7 pounds-ish.
Average is around 26- 29" 6-9 pounds. But they def get bigger! I've caught a 34" 12 pounder last year. I know a man who caught a 17 pounder a few years ago.
