Bass and kids

Not much of a report, just wanted to share some pictures of my son and a few bass. We hit the pudding today and caught a bunch of small ones, and lost the biggest bass I have seen on the pudding. So much for lifting the fish up a small cut bank with an ultralight and 4 lb test! Smallmouth and kids...what a great combination!

Unfortunately for my wife...JJ not only looks like me, but he acts like me. He is a handful! Hah...

The dog is harmless. She was just happy she didn't have to ford the river again...she HATES water.

Hey John, would you mind sharing where there is public access on the Pudding? I live right by it but all the spots I know are private. I'd love to try fly fishing for some smallmouth.

I fish it down by canby. Will send you some details. The best fly water is where the mollalla dumps into the willy. When I have the kids we just pitch jigs on ultralights so we can fish the deeper holes. The fish are pretty small, but the kids love it.
