I strayed over the hill from the Sandy to the Clackams at Barton Park today. The water there was good, nice level and a wee bit green. I talk to folks in four different drift boats that went by. No one had landed a fish. Only one thing to do get up early and hit it again tomorrow.

hit Barton Park on the 12th, 13th and the water was deep dark green no luck for us or any boaters we saw. on the 18th the water looked better but still only 2 nibbles.

Wow! That's a great shot of the river and drift boat with the bridge there. You should hand that in to the people who publish Fishing In Oregon. I bet they'd use it!

OTF.. I took that shot the day before we were all there with the spey rods. Once in a while I get a lucky shot, it sure reminds me of winter steelheading on the Clack.
