Barbecue meatloaf

Well I though I would post it here since this website does have a section for it. Anyhow I have seen it done just never tried doing it myself. I will post the results along with the recipe later on and how it did or did not cook well on the barbecue.

Did this ever turn out?
No not yet. The BBQ had was propane and the recipe called for the other I decided against doing it. It sounded like a good idea at the time.

A grill is basically an outdoor oven in this situation. Not sure what "the other" type the recipe calls for, but you can control the temp on a propane grill much better than, say, a charcoal grill. You can always set a tin pan with burning briquettes or wood chips in the propane grill to get the flavor the smoke gives you. Now, if you have a Traeger, that's a horse of a different color.

Don't miss out on the chance to make something wonderful, magical. Heck, I just might have to try putting an elk meatloaf in the smoker this weekend. Why not? Right.
We'll be waiting. :D
