Astoria area rivers?

Driving to Astoria this morning to fish the evening high tide. Any help/ suggestions on places I can fish on the way for salmon/steelhead from the bank would be greatly appreciated!!! Thx

Ft Stevens State Park. Take Jetty road all the way to the end. It will put you on the Columbia River side and you can fish from the beach. Lots of folks through spinners from that area.

No not this time of year. The Columbia is the spot or the ocean for me this time of year.

When you fish there at the end of Jetty Road for salmon what kind of set up is best? I am headed there this weekend and want to give it a shot
