75$ smallmouth

Tough day on the Umpqua, and by that I mean only 1 of 3 guys caught 1 average smallmouth.

Went to Big k and launched at stuck hole, only after getting a vehicle stuck and having to break out the tow straps.

No way we could have fished it without 4wd to get closer to the water, and even that was rough. Still had to carry the yaks down the last mud slick to the water

From our estimations, the river is 4-5' higher since the last trip, visibility is maybe 12" at best. Lots of debris floating around as well.

Pretty good current for sure.

Sorry you had such a tough day. The only good thing is that they make you appreciate the good ones that much more.

Seems awfully low, the whole ramp we used to launch on is under water and it's very steep as well??

How would river forks fare considering it's not as "mixed" yet?

The Forks is affected just as bad. There was a ton of debris and the water was brown yesterday afternoon.

It could be that the area you were in is affected differently than where they measure.

You had a beautiful day out on the water. But if youre going to start figuring out how much each fish that you catch costs, you're in it for all the wrong reasons.

Try launching your boat on my favorite SMB lake.....

Definitely not a money thing, just much easier when you only catch one!

The extra 1/4 tank in fuel was the heartbreaker, lots of time in 4wd yesterday

Can't catch them on the couch!
