Yeah I usually go for crawfish colors on my spinners for cutties especially in creeks, I just have rather limited experience in the more coastal River systems, I did see that mill creek spot on Google maps so I'll probably start there, I'll come back with an update if I catch anything

it has some small populations of small cutthroat trout, in my experience it can be difficult to fish, but I would suggest starting by the bridge on philomath boulevard and waking upstream through the creek, or from the covered bridge you can walk up and downstream a decent ways, very light gear...

Yeah I figured I might need bigger baits, I figure I’ll check the regs and if I can I’ll start using pikeminnow as cut bait. I just gotta find the holes with the big cats in em.

16 inch bullheads is crazy for, I only ever catch little ones 5-10 inches,I usually just get the little bullheads as by catch when targeting carp or catfish , I’ll be sure to try the chicken/jello/garlic bait soon thanks for the tip!
