See if you can spot the dog

I used to always take my yellow lab with me when bank fishing. He wouldn't stay out of the water. But he would only be in the water next to or in front of me. His job was to help land the fish...:lol::lol:

    Wednesday at Lost Lake

I've been there when it was crowded also, today was the peaceful kind of day. I'll have to try a San Juan worm next time, today was non-stop action. I gave up counting how many I caught and released.

    Wednesday at Lost Lake

Made it up to Lost Lake (above Spruce run park) today. Had a great time c&r'ing the fresh stockers. The hot fly pattern for me was a black crystal bugger with a small flashback pheasant tail on a 16" dropper. About 80% hit the dropper. Even caught 2 at one time, see pic... :D Fished from first...

How to fish a wooly bugger

The best results I've had with wooly buggers is from my pontoon casting toward the bank. The key is to let it sink the desired amount before starting to strip it in. Most strikes come before the 3rd strip during a pause...

    Anna Reservoir

Streamer patterns are probably the way to go there for the striped bass.
