Gonna go to Commonwealth tomorrow. Pretty much done with Bethany. I did she some HUGE Carp in there ... good 2 footers. My buddy and I tried to catch them, but they were just cruising near the bank not interested.

I know, but it is right by my work and a day fishing is better than a day at work any day. Even if you get skunked.

Has anyone been out to Bethany Ponds recently? I know it gets stocked with Rainbows ... but is there anything else left in there? I've read that there are carp and bass as well. Would love to catch either. Thanks!

What fish in what ponds? Not much. Did a lot of walking and that was about it. Caught a little guy in pond one and lot's of bites. Tried 2 for bass ... nothing. Tried 3 for trout and zippo as well. Here is a pick of the monster I caught!

Bluegill (and the occasional perch ) seem to go crazy for a bobber and worm around the Sain Creek picnic area. Last year in August I killed it with bluegill. Never caught a bass so I would love to know as well. Thanks!
