Congrats! I've always wanted to fish that river for bass. I've fished it plenty of times for silver fish but never for bass

They are a really good company, I haven't had any major problems, and when I did they took care of it. I just sold my Excel I had though, kinda regret it. The warranty receptionist wasn't bad last time I went either ;)

I used to fish the Umatilla pool yrs back, I swear by the Hot Lips and the spinnerbaits. I have drove the gorge multiple times but I have never stopped to fish around the Dalles yet. But def. have some waiting to do still...

Water is still cold up here too, I did manage to get out for my first time this yr, but no bass... :(

This electro-shocking is interesting, Fall of 2010 they electro-shocked Silver Lake in Cowlitz Co. WA, appearently they got a 13lb 3oz largie to float up. Crazy to think how old it must have been...

Nice fish! They are bedding up here right now, I have seen a few that looked about that size UL gear and those things are a blast!
