    Weight guesstimate

Took a little trip to Lookout Point Friday as the weather looked cooperative and for the lack of something better to do. Not targeting Bass at all but managed to entice this LMB to open its mouth for my OFFering. Simply snapped a quick pic.....unpinned this beauty and released it without a...

Thanks for the report! Are those two bigger bows brood stock or hold-overs .... or could you tell?

    Lakes Detroit Lake Fishing Reports

@pinstriper So I clicked your link earlier and noted that I’ve been up that particular arm on occasion. Didn’t realize it was referred to as Box Canyon. Thanks. Certainly a tragedy. Making yarn balls

Matching wt size in relation to bobber size is definitely a proven method. Lots of options to consider depending on current, how deep and long a run is, fishing a slot, fishing shallow. I suggest watching other anglers and taking some mental notes and then experimenting, experimenting...

    Making yarn balls

@Utahautes This might help for sizing and color. The possibilities for size and color are wide open... it’s whatever you want them to be. I would however suggest you take along some varied sizes in lighter, darker, mottled, solids, combinations and definitely some tied with UV materials. Don’t...
