    I think if it does reduce the big surges it could be a good thing as the fish wouldn’t stack up outside the outlet making it more difficult on for the seals.

    Released 2 coho, 1 by the million dollar motor homes and the other by the summer homes. Saw one Chinook lost at the boat and talked to a guide that was above the summer home that had 3.

    As far as trimming OFF a couple feet every season that is what I have been doing. I have about 3 yrs on what I have now it has faded some but isn’t frayed. Seems strong I will probably look at changing it next year. Thanks for the input.

    We ended up going out of the Siuslaw. We ran into fish at about 180-200 FOW retained 1 fin clipped and released 3 native coho plus we had about 6 other takedowns.
