CPR Always...

Been watching quite awhile.. The on-demand is nice when I miss one, or want to re-listen to something Owen or Bitsy talked about.. They have some pretty interesting callers sometimes..

We are also planning a vacation, in a week or so, to the same general area.. Any news on any bank fishing Bass opportunities in either of these lakes..?? Thanks, Les

That sure has crossed my mind, especially for my Son..... but, for Bass I only do C.P.R... Although, with all the Salmon/Steelhead over the Falls, it still seems like there's got to be a chance to get into one, even in the Salem area, from the bank..

But nothing... sure was a nice morning to be casting (everything in the tackle box) from shore.. Took my 7 year old son...we had a good time casting and yakking.. Saw a couple of guys on Green Pontoon Boats, float by.. Also, saw what I think was a steelhead, swimming upstream, about 10 feet...

Another one of my son's (7 yrs. old) and I tried that area, a couple of months or so ago, before the monsoon brought the water up.. We tried both the mouth of Pringle and the Dock at the Riverfront.. But, nothing..

My son and I went after smallmouths, around noon, from the bank.. Fished for a couple of hours.. He ended up with 3 on of all things a Blue Fox Spinner.. All around a pound and a half... Beautiful fish... Took a picture of the first two, before he released, but kind of forgot need to "save"...

Found it... Found it... Did some more searching..and found it.. course google doesn't show much detail as to what roads to take to get there, and how many are private property..

I tried to find it on google maps..but, no luck.. found a riverbend Landfill, south of Mc Minn.. but, no water near it... plus it was off Hwy 18, rather than 99..

Took my 7 year old out LM fishing, a couple of Sunday's ago, on a pond in the Silverton area... Didn't see any sign of fish, but sure was a nice day to be out and giving it a try...

We fished 101 on Thursday afternoon, till about 6:00... saw a few breaking the surface..and a seal...but, other than that, nothing going on... only a dozen or so fishing, so at least no shoulder-to-shoulder like the weekend.. Went up to Forest Service Hole, about 6:00.... Maybe 10 or so...

The grounds really seemed pretty clean too me... There are garbage cans in several areas, kind of around the parking lot...and the one we used, has just had a new bag put in... Saw one of the usual smashed up styro worm container on the shore of one of the ponds we fished... but, at least...

Went out to the ponds, yesterday evening, with my son (6)... Fished pond 3 (surface pretty much covered in vegetation) and pond 5...(more open water).. Fished topwater around the openings...but no action.. Saw what looked like about a 9" trout in pond 5..and some movement of fish.. Nice...
