I just did that float yesterday as a matter of fact! (Bellinger to Hayden) I love that whole stretch from Hendricks down. It's a pretty long float, and with it getting darker sooner, you may want to think about breaking it in half and using the Bellinger Landing as a take out/launch . . ...
Man! I wouldn't want to take my boat down the S. Santiam right now. I thinks it's down around 850 cfm. I haven't seen too much in the way of fish except up in the stretch just below the hatchery. Be prepared for combat fishing conditions . . . especially this weekend. Good luck!
