    I've seen people fishing Walter Wirth Lake behind the Wal-Mart by Salem Airport. Bring your lantern and a chair, don't forget the insect repellent! Good Luck!:)

    I've only used a piece of yarn, tied on the the egg loop, or just simply tied on above the eye of the hook. I like to trim the yarn so it's even with the bend of the hook. I'm sure you could try beads and what not too!!! I'm still pretty new to drift fishing so I haven't expieremented much yet...

    Has Anyone done any good over on the Alsea, last I i read was how packed it was after the water fell back into shape. Combat fishing just isn't for me. :lol: Mabey in a week or two i'll give it a go. :think:

    Solar powered 12v chargers

    I work at Costco in Salem, and we sell a (or did sell) a 2 pack of solar 12volt chargers/battery maintainers. Not sure how many amps it provides, but like osmosis said, anything helps. ;) worth a shot though, i wanted to get a set but all my dinero is going towards tires for my Jeep. If you did...

    :( Looks like i'm gonna save the gas for another day.....I know the rivers clears quick and this is measured down at Tidewater, but 11.5' to 12' just dosen't sound fun. Mabey next week I suppose.🙏

    Clackamas @ Riverside/Winter Steel

    I use the little pink salad shrimp for Kokanee up in Green Peter, i'd imagin the tiger shrimp may be the ones you buy in the meat dept. at your local grocery store. aka Tiger Prawns.....:think: I dunno, but they sure do smell fishy! Worth a shot to bring a few out to see how they do!;)

    becareful with the corn....I've heard that Shoe peg is the only corn they can digest, everything else is illegal........anyone know if this is ture?:think::confused: Good Job with the catch!:clap: Last few times i've been up, the rain was pouring down. Still have yet to get a koke this year...

    Mostly 8-13" I'm sure there are bigger fish, but i have yet to catch em;) Not sure if there's enough forage in the lake, because it's so clear and cold. Crane Prarie from what i hear has some pretty big fish!:) might head that way this summer!
