ec is being hammerd but there are still fish there. i would go a little heavier than 8 pound leader.i had two busted off 8 pound there.as long as you beat the guys to one good hole there you should have no problem getting a couple of strikes.theres fish in every hole if you can see them or...
i might of found a place up high to fish for trout,my dads company was logging over eagle creek last year and he told me of a place to go with great holes but i have to drive and check it out.the old man has led me on to some wild goose chases before .:rolleyes:so i will just have to see next...
i agree and start simple,thats what i did but i would just concentrate on the flys you notice you really use a lot or your favorite ones. i noticed i have hundreds of flies but when i go out i only really use five or six that i like to use so the rest just cluter up my boxes and look pretty.

went out sunday and lost one again, but later in the day finally got my steelie so im happy for about two days until i get the crazy look in my eye and then i must fish or be pissed off all week.:lol:
went out today my buddy caught his steelie on a pink and white jig and i lost three on my fly rod.not bad day except for the last one that broke off he made my heart sink a little ,he was a beast we had a long battle but he kicked my a**.:)
i dont know what jigs to use because i only use a fly rod and just wanted to help out my buddy there, who only uses a spinning rod.ive been there before and wasn't looking for the almighty powerful jig to use just interested in what these guys like to use. i should of just asked the question in...
