Other than photo's I have never seen a steelhead. Lived in Valsetz a couple years and fished for them a lot. Don't know that I ever had the first bite. Have seen a couple guys saying they had one on but both guys lost them! Imagine that! The so called steelhead is my mystery fish, not sure it...

Why do people fish for carp in the first place? I have never met anyone that eats them. Maybe the same reason a lot of people simply fish catch and release for everything?

Seem's some of the best lure's I ever had were really inexpensive but for whatever reason caught fish. Then now and then I splurge and get an expensive lure and strike out! Go figure!

Something I just thought of about rods. Lot of guy's tried inexpensive rods and had trouble with them, sounds like breaking. So they spend a bunch more money on a presumably better rods and problem goes away. Well do you think the problem goes away because of a better rod or a more expensive rod...

Gummed up card on my 20hp Honda last year. Shop suggested it was caused by condensation. Now when I park the boat I make sure the boat tank is full of gas. Also durning the winter I run the motor several times a month fo a while.
