I personally like walleye much better than crappie and catfish for table fare.

Leaded gasoline seemed like a good idea up until about the mid 70's. Same with leaded paint. Same with tobacco. What we don't know may still kill us. Or seriously maim us.

I have found that rocks and old spark plugs tied to the end of your line seem to appease the aforementioned "rock gods". No need for fancy weights at the bottom when the fish won't see them, and lead just pollutes the environment.

I don't know about crappie and bass that used to be in the full resevoir, but the original creek looks like a nice trout habitat. Are there any trout left after the draw down?
