    Davis Lake

That's what I figured... Do you think it's possible to launch a small pontoon boat near the lava dam?

Thanks for the links, those are really helpful! Looks like I won't be fishing from the jetty this weekend...

    Bandon South jetty

Thanks for the info. Magicseaweed.com is predicting 6-10 ft swells Saturday and 7-11 ft Sunday for Coos Bay (the closest they list). I'm hoping that improves a little. Is there a better site to get swell forecasts? I couldn't find anything on the port of Brandon website.

    Bandon South jetty

I'm going to be staying in Brandon next weekend pretty close to the South jetty. If the weather/surf cooperates I'd like to do some fishing. From old posts it looks like there are redtail surf perch there. Is there anything else I could target from the shore/jetty?

Rivers Alton Baker Canal Fishing Reports

Is AB pond the one in the middle of the park? Or is it the long, narrow pond near the entrance with the disc golf course? (behind La Quinta and the car dealerships)? I also had no idea that bass are in there.

McKenzie River fly fishing for beginner

With all this rain we are getting I'm not sure of anywhere that will be good to try for a while. Another good resource that you may or may not know about yet is NOAA. They provide graphs of water levels that you can check for all the major rivers. The link below is for the McKenzie at Armitage...

    Eel Lake in late January

I ended up only having a couple hours to fish Eel. Fought but lost one small to mid sized trout and had a few other quick bites but never got set. All on woolly buggers. Thanks for the help!

    Eel Lake in late January

Thanks for the welcome and the info! I was planning on trolling so that is really helpful to know. Looks like I need to get a copy of that book!

    Eel Lake in late January

Anyone have any advice for fishing Eel lake this time of year? I'm going to be at Tugman State Park with a small boat this weekend and want to try it out. Are any bodies of water nearby (Hall/Schuttpelz lakes, Eel creek, etc.) worth a shot right now? I'll have both fly and spin set-ups with me.
