    Questions?

Where is a good place to bank fish for bass around Milwaukie? I've only caught a couple 1-1.5 pounders in various places but have never caught fish in numbers anywhere I've tried.

Hit up cleaterbend bridge its a great spot for trout in that area and u can fish from the bridge or hike for quite awhile to find better holes. It is about 8 miles outside of detroit towards Breitenbush hotsprings (its the bridge at the cutoff for the hotsprings). Devils creek is a really cool...

    Used Lami certified Pro question

Lamiglass makes some pretty good poles and for 55 dollars that is hard to beat. While in all the years my grandfather and dad tied up rods fished and stored rods i've never heard of the tint on the graphite fading, but tbh 55 bones is nothing and if you can still bear into the rod and hear no...

    Other fish at Clack!!!!

while on second glance I do believe you that is a carp hard to tell but for the dorsal fin which *runs* a lot farther down the back of the carp vs the sucker. But to say it has a high set back and is 8-10 pounds is kind of ludicrous as there is not enough in those pics to infer that.

    Other fish at Clack!!!!

That fish is a Large scaled sucker which is a native but non-regulated fish really fun to spearfish while floating Barton to Carver, and I'm pretty sure there are no carp on the clack and carp are vegetarians so they don't eat salmon eggs, some species are native and some are not ( I believe...

Best rod and reel setup for plunking the Big C. for fall chinook?

Also Daiwa (especially the old school ones are really well build and work great for tossing out those heavy rigs in heavier currents) are more than reliable and overall great reels.

Best rod and reel setup for plunking the Big C. for fall chinook?

Dude don't waste your money on that stuff. I've fished with better rods than one could buy (unless you know the folks with Clearwater or other blank builders and you tie your own rods up). The difference is negligible when you fish with the proper rod weight/reel especially if you are going to...

    Clackamette Park Tuesday

I need someone to go out in a canoe with me at that clackamas lagoon. I have a decent sized canoe but its too much for 1 person and I was talking to a guy with a fish finder that was kind enough to identify some nice humps, drop offs and areas where lots of fish were holding.

    Rookie salmon fishing questions

Personally I wouldn't use braid, go with like 25 pound mono and unless you absolutely horse it in the line will not break. A good plunking setup for salmon is a double egg loop with a whole Prawn or a single hook setup with sand shrimp run a spininglow and a corky, or you could do away with that...

    Coho fishing

Hello all, I am looking for some drift fishing info for coho on the lower clack. I can find my own holes to fish, but I am looking for some tips on what kind of bait to use. I have only ever fishing for coho with spinners with no luck so I am going to try my hand at drifting which seems to be a...
