The bite seems to get better later as it's getting closer to dark. There's some trout still in there and we learned learned how to catch the carp. Corn covering small hooks- fished off the bottom (Make sure you use a sliding weight as they kinda mess with your bait at first before they take it)...
...btw, does anyone have any tips on how to catch carp at Bethany pond? I was thinking about floating dough balls under a bobber, but wondering if there's a better way? Thx!

I hear ya..I went 15 trips in a row without a bite last year that was pretty discouraging. But keep it up man, eventually you'll find some good water and get some fish! Try higher up in the system too.

Was at the mouth for an hour and half - just drivin home now...
Saw 4 fish jump...1 of which I got a clean look at as it was directly in front of me 15 feet away- it looked like a coho to me! Not much other activity but looks like they are starting to show up!
