Beautiful boat Jennifer.................... My favorite lake up on Mt. Hood is Trillium Lake. It fishes good with fly, bait, and hardware. I believe it should be open in May if the snow is off. The most beautiful view of the mountain that there is in my opinion......

I only fish Okuma rods (and reels), have for a very long time. I started with Celilo rods many years ago (tight budget) but switched up to the SST line when they came out. I've since stepped up to the Guide Select Pro series (a little more expensive) and I will say that they are my favorite line...

I use 14# Berkley Fireline in crystal, don't like the high viz stuff for my float setups. I run about 12 feet of either 10# or 12# P-Line fluorocarbon CFX depending on water conditions. I run a fixed float setup 99% of the time.

No, I didn't use the filter, was just looking at the wrong location in the thread list for the most recent response..... In the old format I could got look at the Willamette region and look up anything steelhead or salmon. Where can I do that now? With like any change, it will take some time...
