Yeah! The Alsea near Tidewater wass at 1.71 feet(which isn't much) and holding when this new batch of rain hit, at 16:30. Bears watching closely. Drift Creek will be inetresting too.

It's at 2.11 on the guage at 06:00. And rising still. Almost a foot of water. Think it is time to go salmon fishing, at least up to 5 rivers.

I know you will probabily be fishing up high and I don't know how close we are to the silver quota. If you find some good spinner water, they will hit a #6 Fox and the bay colors that were hot are Orange or Fl. Pink. Don't be affraid to use #30,40lb. leader. The nooks and silvers are mixed together down low, but I don't know what happens once they get up high? How muddy is the water up there?

Not muddy at all... classic brackish from the leafs.

What I am hoping is that the Alsea will drop low enough by Friday to concetrate the fish in pools. I am hungry...for some nookies. I want some nookie!:lol:ray::dance:

Wow. Must had more lingering showers than I thought. The Alsea creasted a little over a foot above a few days ago at about 22:00(11 pm) last night. Definiitely dropping now.
