I went up to Diamond Lake on tuesday 04/23/13 and fished from the small concrete pier located at the north boat ramp.I was using assorted colors of powerbait with a #16 treble hook and a 1/4 oz egg sinker.The fishing wasn't red hot or anything but I did manage to catch my limit and lost 5 or 6...

I had a " Royal Express" that I used for steelhead mostly. I traded it for a 5501c3 because I didn't care for the thumbar release.Just my preference.It was a great reel , very comfortable,smooth drag and casted nicely.
