Vintage rod question

P
PstMactear
In younger years I was given an Eagle Claw Wright & McGill fishing rod. I recently ran across it in my basement and am wondering what I exactly have, Was it a good rod? Bass Rod? The markings say: Favorite 6 1/2, Worm Rod, BFlex.

It was never used and It's time for it to see water. What present day reel would be well matched for it?

Thank you.

I’ve seen, and owned, many vintage rods from that maker. But that’s completely new to me. Hopefully someone can shed some light.

Can’t see the guides, but the reel seat looks like a spinning rod. Probably needs a Mitchell 300 to be period correct. 😀
